BHS Distance - Week of 4/21/24

This is a big meet week. Friday will be a very high level competition and this is an event that we will rest up for. Whether you are in an individual event or one of the relays we want to make this meet a high light of our season. BUT, before that we will have a home dual meet against mountainside.

We are getting to the time in the season where we are peaking – the workouts will be faster, more intense, but with less volume. The mountainside meet will also be about peaking for our metro meet. This might mean that you are doing an event you may not like – like a 400! or an 800!

This week

Monday – Hard Workout on the track
Tuesday – recovery plus core
Wednesday – Mountainside at BHS
Thursday – pre-meet/recovery
Friday – Twilight relays
Saturday – Rest day
Sunday – Long Run
